Ambiance, service, and fine dining combine to create an amazing date night experience or family celebration. The pasta is made fresh daily and it is the star of the show. Before that we had the best stuffed mushroom I have ever had with the perfect blend of sausage and cheese. We finished the meal with the signature bomboloni dessert which is kind of like a beignet stuffed with cannoli cream, then topped with chocolate & caramel. Definitely save room for dessert. Our server, Jorge, was there at every course and in between to make sure we enjoyed the meal. He made excellent wine suggestions as well. Beyond the obvious quality of food, we were impressed with the management of this restaurant. Everyone seemed happy to be a part of the team and it showed in the genuine hospitality at every level. We met Latrice, a manager who was checking on tables with a smile and helping ensure a smooth service. They made us want to come back again soon. There was also an amazing live, musician playing pop music with an electric violin. It was dinner & a great show all in one. (Tuesday special). Maybe next time, I'll "let the camera eat first" and get more pictures to add.

Made a reservation for brunch on June 8th for 11A and it was not busy. Enjoyed the non alcoholic Passion Fruit Fizz so much I ordered 2. The Burrata was very tasty. My Omelette di Oggi was perfectly cooked but a little underwhelming. The waiter explained it was a seasonal presentation and it would come with bacon and a side, but the omelette was actually served with sausage which was not a huge deal to me. That weekend Titus O'Neal was in the neighborhood and coincidentally sat to eat in our vicinity so the restaurant wasn't really bustling until that moment. I would return for brunch again and try something else.

There's just nothing better than getting food in Hyde park. Timpano is one of the coolest places in the area with the most delicious food. Our server was incredibly attentive to our rather large party. The food though, chefs kiss! We all tried something different than each other and we loved every dish! I wish my stomach was big enough to try the whole menu. We took our friends here from out of state and they were very impressed! travelingtastebuds_

I went for the parm to table pasta and it delivered. I split the pasta and a kale caesar salad with my mom to celebrate her bday. The pasta was delicious and held up for leftovers the next day, which was good bc it was a ton of pasta. The salad made me feel healthier about pasta made in a parmesan wheel. I would go again, but will probably wait for a special occasion. Maybe I'm old and cranky but I wasn't into the dj at brunch. Made it hard to chat.

Service is superrrr slow here buttt i will always be back for one dish. And its the wagyu beef carpaccio and octopus! The beef was soooo good. Abd the octopus was super tender. The pasta was okay for how long we waited. Do come for the aesthetic as everything was so nicely decorated!

We had a great dinner here last night. I want to start by saying we loved the vibe at this restaurant. The crowd was a young one & everybody was eager to have a good time. For our dinner, we started with fried calamari & it was excellent. Very crispy & flavorful with peppers added for spice. We shared an order of cavatelli with sausage that was very good & spicy. We also shared an order of baked snapper that was tasty as well. Another plus for us was that coming to this restaurant brought us to the Hyde Park neighborhood. It has an upscale, classy feel that we liked very much.

Excellent meatball appetizer. You get about 5 medium sized balls with a nice tomato sauce and some liquid cheese. The additional bread makes the dish perfect to dip up the sauce. I had two draught IPAs that were delicious. What stood out was the ideal service by the bar staff. These people were top notch. They noticed everything with no effort required by me at all. Not a cheap meal, but almost worth it.
